Dear Friends,
It was great being in worship with you yesterday! The Spirit was certainly stirring among us, something that one can not “plan on”, but still anticipate. I appreciate each and every one of you and am overjoyed at all of our new members who have jumped in with both feet (and voices) to serve. Thank you! God is good! As you read the devotional below, one thing you can plan on is that God is always with us and has already planned a magnificent future for us all. That’s God’s plan and will for us. Sometimes, our plans get in the way of that. Pray for God’s will and guidance. Plan for a few surprises along the way. Love, Scott

You Will Not Find My Peace by engaging in excessive planning:attempting to control what will happen to you in the future. That is acommonly practiced form of unbelief. When your mind spins withmultiple plans, Peace may sometimes seem to be within your grasp; yetit always eludes you. Just when you think you have prepared for allpossibilities, something unexpected pops up and throws things intoconfusion.
I did not design the human mind to figure out the future. That isbeyond your capability. I crafted your mind for continualcommunication with Me. Bring Me all your needs, your hopes and fears. Commit everything into My care. Turn from the path of planning to thepath of Peace.
