I came across a quote as I was looking for the floor in my office. “No tree becomes rooted and sturdy unless many a wind assails it. For by its very tossing, it tightens its grip and plants its roots more securely; the fragile trees are those that have grown in a sunny valley.”

That made a lot of sense to me and gave me a bit of comfort. Like you, I have been in many storms throughout my life. More storms will come, but knowing I’m rooted and trying to live in the Spirit gives me and you, I’m sure, a sense of peace. I look forward to celebrating life, love and music with you all tonight!
