March 28 Devotional

Dear Friends,
I hope you and your family, friends and loved ones will take a moment tonight to participate in Holy Communion between the hours of 6pm and 8pm.  This reflective service will be a blessing to you and yours I’m sure.  On this Holy Thursday we will once again remember the great sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who took the act of Passover and turned it into an act of Christian worship.  As you pray tonight, pray that God would also prepare your hearts, minds, bodies and spirits to lead in worship on Friday and Sunday. As worship leaders, God is working through you and in you to spread the message of salvation to a hurting world.  In this way, we are indeed, partners with God on a Holy quest.  Be blessed on this journey as you continue to faithfully serve, sing and play for Him!  Peace and Love, Scott

I Am A God Who Gives and gives and gives.  When I died for you on the cross, I held back nothing; I poured out My Life like a drink offering.  Because giving is inherent in My nature, I search for people who are able to receive in full measure.  To increase your intimacy with Me, the two traits you need the most are receptivity and attentiveness.  Receptivity is opening up your innermost being to be filled with My abundant riches.  Attentiveness is directing your gaze to Me: searching for Me in all your moments.  It is possible to stay your mind on Me, as the prophet Isaiah wrote.  Through such attentiveness you receive a glorious gift: My perfect Peace.

Philippians 2:17 17But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.

Mark 10:15 15I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)  3You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
