Dear Beloved, Faithful Servants,
I don’t know about you, but I stopped doing new year’s resolutions a long time ago. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are things that I need to change and improve upon, but term “resolution” sounds so serious and daunting. Being “resolute” may be the only way to actually make change happen, but the Bible says that if you are in God’s will, then nothing can stop you from eventually accomplishing your goal. I love goals and set them for myself and others every day. It is said if you aim at nothing, you are sure to hit your mark! So, pray about your goals, ask God to guide you and for His will to be your will and then be patient and never quit! Soak up what God has in store for you and enjoy the journey with Him hand in hand. I Am With You And For You. When you decide on a course of action that is in line with My will, nothing in heaven or on earth can stop you. You may encounter many obstacles as you move toward your goal, but don’t be discouraged-never give up! With my help, you can overcome any obstacle. Do not expect an easy path as you journey hand in hand with Me, but do remember that I, your very-present Helper, am omnipotent.
Much, much stress results from your wanting to make things happen before their times have come. One of the main ways I assert My sovereignty is in the timing of events. If you want to stay close to Me and do things My way, ask Me to show you the path forward moment by moment. Instead of dashing headlong toward your goal, let Me set the pace. Slow down, and enjoy the journey in My Presence.
