April 4 Devotional

Dear Friends,
After a very busy couple of weeks, it’s great to pause, seek some stillness and some silence, and just be with God.  Don’t get me wrong!  I love the music, the drama etc. etc.  It’s thrilling in so many ways and awe inspiring.  But nothing compares to the stillness of communing with God.  I pray you make time for that today and every day!  Peace and Love, Scott

I Meet You in the stillness of your soul.  It is there that I seek to commune with you.  A person who is open to My Presence is exceedingly precious to Me.  My eyes search to and fro throughout the earth, looking for one whose heart is seeking Me.  I see you trying to find Me; our mutual search results in joyful fulfillment.

Stillness of soul is increasingly rare in this world addicted to speed and noise.  I am pleased with your desire to create a quiet space where you and I can meet. Don’t be discouraged by the difficulty of achieving this goal.  I monitor all your efforts and am blessed by each of your attempts to seek My Face.

Zechariah 2:13 13 Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”

2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)  9For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Psalm 23:2-3 (NKJV) 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.  3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness; For His name’s sake.
